Mom

My fondest memory of my mother was when she and I went to the dollar movie (yes, those used to exist). We had decided to watch The Great Outdoors and were literally crying when we walked out of the theater. We enjoyed the show so much that we decided to splurge two more dollars and see the latest Molly Ringwald movie (hey, she was a big deal back then). Unfortunately, Molly was lackluster at best and we found ourselves to be let down compared to our initial viewing. SO, what did we do? We dropped two more George Washington’s on the counter and strolled back in to rewatch The Great Outdoors. And I know that we laughed harder the second time than we did the first. Ahhhh, the memories.
