Politics & Mental Health

Other than the occasional banter between my fiance and myself, I do not do politics…at all. When you deal with mental health issues the last thing you need is additional stress. And, to me, politics brings nothing but stress. Knowing the candidates and what they stand for versus what the other side is saying about them is exhausting. I look at this the same way I lok at Face Book and other social media sites…they bring far too much bagage and cloud an already fragile mind.

If poloitics is your thing, great. I’m not dissing on you or your train of thought. But as for me, politics hinders better judgement. I am better when I am serving and trying to make a difference…not getting caught up in a slew of slander and lies.

Mission Statement: To create connection, community, and support among suicide survivors by providing resources, building relationships, and public speaking to help end the suicide crisis. Using our own personal experiences, we engage the survivor at the earliest phase of the grieving process to aid in their rebuilding process. Our primary focus is using public address via face-to-face or online application; however, we also specialize in mass education and grievance support for military installations, colleges/public schools, churches, work places and individual forums.
