Meet The Team

Nelson K. Thomas

Nelson is a disabled Veteran who retired from the United States Air Force in 2016 after serving as a firefighter and EMT. He not only lost his mother to suicide in 2006 but has attempted to take his own life on three separate occasions. Since then, he has been on a mission to ensure others do not experience similar tragedies. He now uses his own personal experience with mental illness as well as his past struggles with addiction to aid those who find themselves in similar situations.

Natalie Charles-Pierre

Natalie is a hardworking, fun-loving mother who cares for others and always fights for the underdog. Her heart for mission work was apparent during her numerous trips to Haiti and Peru. She has been involved in construction projects, worked with children in orphanages and assisted with medical missions. She sought education from both Abilene Christian University and Hardin Simmons and graduated in 2008. She spent many years assisting mental health patients, fifteen years as an Alzheimers/dementia specialist and is now working as a neonatal hearing screener.

Alecia Eastridge

Alecia is a small town girl from Arkansas living in Bowling Green, KY. She loves the outdoors and spending time with her family. She is a special education teacher and absolutely loves her job. SAS is important to her because she has felt the affects of suicide with the passing of her grandfather as well as helping her bonus daughter as she went through her own grief with her father. Mental health support and awareness are really crucial in helping those who are struggling as well as those in their support system. We hope to be a light in this world and help change the lives of those who feel lost.

Anna Cronberg

Anna is an eccentric geek who loves to talk movies and go head-to-head in movie trivia. She can be loud, a bit cocky, and appreciates the occasional horror flick. Be careful where you step because she might bust out a few dance moves from Thriller, her favorite music video. She is a whiz with a computer and rebuilds machinery for a living.

Anna knows what’s like to be different and embraces who she is and loves all of her quirks. Anna has a heart the size of Texas and is not afraid to show it openly.  She gives until it hurts and that is just one reason she is a vital part of SAS. She loves life and feels for everyone who imagines that life would be better without them in it.  She has talked friends off the ledge and worked with others to ensure they saw the truth in the joy life can bring. She uses her abilities with computers to maintain all of SAS’s operations and engages with the creation of media and other programs as necessary.
